All about G'Vine
G’Vine has two Gin expressions under its belt; Floraison and Nouaison. Distilled at EuroWineGate, both expressions are made with an unconventional neutral grape Spirit as a base, in France’s Cognac region.
The name Floraison means ‘flowering’, and describes the point at which the grape vine’s flowers are picked and macerated in the neutral grape Spirit.
At the same time, the other nine botanicals (including green cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, cubeb and liquorice) are all individually distilled with more grape Spirit, before being added together and distilled for a final time. The result is a smooth, fresh and predominantly floral taste, with added punch from the ginger.

All about G'Vine distillery
EuroWineGate produces G’Vine Gin. Most Gins are distilled from wheat or barley. G’Vine Gin has a very distinct way of distilling their Gin: from grapes. Established in 2001 in Cognac France, “G’Vine Gin is crafted on the grounds of Maison Villevert, a 16th century family estate in the heart of Cognac country.Blending French Wine traditions with spirits innovation is the essence of Maison Villevert, and its exquisite liquids, independent character and savoir faire are famed around the world.” Gin is traditionally based upon a neutral grain Spirit, made from wheat or barley.
G’Vine is based on a grape distillate, and infused with vine flowers. The grapes are harvested during the autumn months. They are then vinified before being distilled continuously. Most Gin distillers use a third-party neutral spirit.
EWG Spirits & Wines distill their own Spirit, which makes them unique, but the fact that they distill their Spirit from grapes really sets them apart. G’Vine Gin’s Founder and Master Distiller, Jean-Sébastien Robicquet oversees the production of this unique Spirit.
The grape distillate is crafted with ten botanicals, including their rare signature vine flower. The resultant botanical vine flower essence is then married with the other nine botanicals in G’Vine’s exclusive copper pot still named Lily Fleur to create the smooth G’Vine Gin.
Blended together quite harmoniously, there are two expressions of G’Vine Gin: Floraison and Nouaison. Carefully selected, 10 botanicals compose G’Vine Gin, including aromatic juniper berries, green cardamom, cubeb berries, liquorice, lime, coriander, quassia amara, nutmeg, ginger root and the rare vine flower.
Split in 4 distinct families, each botanical family is distilled separately to preserves their aromatic properties.
