All about Milford

Milford range includes American Oak and ex-Bourbon casks aged Whiskies of different ages, including 10, 15, 18 and 20 year old single malt. Milford's Whiskies were generally aromatic, with a biscuity feeling, reflecting the ex-Bourbon casks very much.

Mildford Whiskies were produced by The Willowbank Distillery that started distilling in 1969 and closed in 1997. Milford range is part of the remaining stock that was released by The New Zealand Whisky Company.

All about Milford distillery

The Wilson’s Dunedin Distillery, also known as Willowbank Distillery, was established in 1974 on the South Island of New Zealand by the Baker family. It was the southerly distillery in the world, producing highly regarded Milford and Lammerlaw Whisky brands.

The distillery closed in 1997. The remaining stock is now owned by The New Zealand Whisky Company that stores it in a seaside warehouse in Oamaru and gradually releases it.
