All about West Cork distillery

The West Cork distillery resides on Skibbereen, West Cork. Started in 2003 as a pet project of John O’ Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy in Union Hall, West Cork, WCD started distilling Whiskey, Poitin, Vodka and Gin.

In 2013 they moved to a larger facility. Currently they are exporting to 35 countries and are also one of the two independent distilleries in Ireland. The distillery uses spring water, barley and wheat, and two stills during the distillation process.
