All about Zuidam

Zuidam Dutch Courage Gin is produced used the batch distillation method, which means that the individual botanicals are all distilled in a small copper pot still, before being blended and cut with more neutral grain spirit.

This method is believed to keep a more pure flavor to each of the distillates, so no flavor is lost when the botanicals mix during distillation. Dutch Courage Gin is made with juniper, iris root, coriander, angelica root, fresh oranges, lemons, and limes (as opposed to dried peels), liquorice and vanilla.

A well-balanced Gin with a lot of flavors. Zuidam also produces an Old Tom Gin and an American Oak Aged Gin.

All about Zuidam distillery

Zuidam Distillers was established in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam, who still runs the business today, with the help of his sons Patrick and Gilbert. What started off as a small distillery at 300 square feet and just one still, rapidly expanded and today the distillery is 3,600 square meters, and houses four brand new copper pot stills, over 1,000 oak barrels and has four production lines.

Based in the Netherlands, the company produces Gin, Genever, Rum, Whiskey and a multitude of flavored Liqueurs. Every ingredient is 100% natural, everything is produced with traditional methods, and every recipe has been developed by the father and son team.
