Nestled in the depths of the Caribbean lives a playful Spirit that goes by the name of Bacoo. A genuine genie in a bottle, Baccoo is a cheeky Spirit, known to grant wishes to its rightful owner but also infamous for causing mischief to anyone who doesn’t treat him with respect. A daily dose of milk and bananas should keep your Bacco fine and dandy.

Bacco Rum has successfully managed to get a hold of this mischievous creature. It is distilled at San Pedro de Macoris distillery in the Dominican Republic, which conjures up a wide range of bottles boasting Rum aged from 5 to 12 years old.

Bacoo 7 Year Old Rum is magical in more ways than one. Aside from the lucky number 7 years of aging in 1st maturation Bourbon barrels, this funky Spirit is captured and made from fresh sugar cane juice with the help of the agricole method. It clocks in at 40% ABV and showcases flavors of caramelized banana, Rum and raisin ice cream with honeyed black tea. If this naughty Rum is not to your liking, you can cork it back up and throw it in the sea. At least, that’s what the legend suggests, anyway.
