The Spectacular Tale of the Owl Whisky

There are quite a few things one needs to make a spectacular Whisky, and the Owl distillery has them all. First, you need a great trailblazer who is willing to sacrifice it all to make his master plan come into existence (he goes by the title Master Distiller and founder Etienne Bouillon), his support, someone to teach him all about the craft (Scottish distiller Jim McEwan), a unique circumstance that serves as an infinite inspiration to the art of Whisky-making (the unique terroir Dry Hesbaye in Belgium), and proper equipment (two stills from the old Caperdonich distillery). And so, the stars gave their nod, and the sky locked up to give us the best Belgian Single Malt.

Belgian Owl Identity Single Malt is a smooth and complex Whiskey, winner of several international awards, and a true fine sip. The Single Malt uses barley that is grown around the distillery and the water that comes from precisely 38 meters below the distillery. But the star of the Whisky-making process, of course, are the two Capredonich stills, birthing the amazing smooth liquid that becomes the core expression of the distillery. Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill from 36 to 41 months, Identity develops all kinds of delicate notes for your taste buds’ pleasure. Bottled at an ABV of 46%.
