A lightly peated American Single Malt from Colorado.

When a Scotsman moves to the United States, only one thing can happen. The Scotsman starts making a peated American Whiskey. At least this was the case of Alastair Brogan who moved to the States to pursue his dream of making fine Whiskey. Barley, yeast, water, oak, and the pursuit of happiness, he says. Founding a small Colorado Whiskey company, the Boulder Spirits guys have big dreams, even bigger goals, and the biggest pot still in the Cowboy State. Their range includes American Single Malt Whiskeys, Bourbons, and Gins, all made in their unique way that brings new flavors to old traditions.

Boulder Spirits American Peated Single Malt Whiskey is a lightly peated American Single Malt. Bet you haven’t tried many of those before. The good Boulder folk wanted to show the Whiskey drinkers that peat doesn’t have to be the center of the Whiskey but rather an extra layer. This is why this wonderful creation is only lightly peated. It was distilled with malted barley in their Scottish pot still, aged in freshly charred American oak for at least 3 years, and cut with Eldorado Springs water. Taste the flavors of springtime mountain rain, spruce tip, and creme brulee neat or add a few drops of water.
