A delightful sipping Rum from the most famous Jamaican produce on the island.

Way back in 1825, John Wray opened up “The Shakespeare Tavern” in Kingston, Jamaica. After a few years, he started distilling and blending local Rum to serve in his tavern. In the 1860’s John was joined by his nephew Charles Ward and they began to bottle and export their Rum internationally. In the 150 years since then the business s has changed hands a few times. Now it is owned by Campari Group. But what hasn’t changed is their dedication to making fine Jamaican Rum.

Coruba is most famous for their Original Dark Rum and Spiced Rum which have been a mainstay of exotic cocktails for generations. But Ron Coruba has exported fine “golden” Rums around the world for a long time. In fact, these finer, aged Rums have been the most popular in the New Zealand market. Ron Coruba 18 Year Old is proudly 100% natural and 100% Jamaican. it is solera-aged in ex-Bourbon casks for a minimum of eighteen years and — quite frankly — it would be a bit of a shame to mix it with anything at all.
