A full-bodied single barrel release of Eagle Rare

Eagle Rare – the name itself tells you half of the story. It’s a limited offering, and it brings forth the character as complex as America herself. It’s one of the many great Whiskeys made by Buffalo Trace, the oldest continuously operating Spirit-making establishment in the United States. They started distilling one year before the Declaration of Independence was signed, and they were allowed to keep their stills working during the Prohibition.

The history, the aromas, the flavors – this Bourbon is already something special. We love this expression so much we almost kept it for ourselves, but on the other hand, it’s so good we have to share it with you.

Deep Bronze

Nose / Aroma / Smell
With the first sip you’ll find notes of crisp toffee, toasted oak, buttermilk bars, maple, and hot orange zest.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The palate is full-bodied, warm, and nutty with a note of walnut bread, melted butter, plum and wild honey.

Finish
The finish is pleasantly long with notes of leather and vanilla spice.
