Alfonso Morodo has been in the drinks business his entire career. Based in Madrid, he is the CEO of two beverage importing companies — Qool Drinks and Global Premium Brands — and the founder/CEO/owner of his own Spirits company… Vantguard. Ten years ago Vantguard was on the forefront of this experimentation when they launched Gin Mare — a Gin that broke away from the London Dry tradition and rediscovered the flavors of the Mediterranean where Gin was born. Gin Mare broke the Gin rules with the infusion of Arbequina olives on top of juniper, rosemary, basil, thyme, Seville and Valencia oranges, Seville lemons, green cardamom, and coriander. The 10th Anniversary Capri edition adds more lemon and exotic bergamot for a brighter aroma and palate — all delivered in a gorgeous decanter that evokes the sea itself.
