Made in Cuba since 1934, Havana Club — the Cuban version — is a partnership between Pernod Ricard and Cuba. Together they have been producing and distributing Havana Club Rum since 1993 as Corporación Cuba Ron based in Havana and have a stable of Rums, table Wines, Spirits, and carbonated beverages.
Havana Club Ritual Cubano Rum was originally created for the drinks market in Spain. In fact, it was designed to be mixed into the classic Highball cocktail, the Cuba Líbre — a mixture of golden Rum and cola served with a wedge of lime. The Spirit is made from molasses pressed from sugarcane grown in Central Cuba and column-distilled near the town of Cárdenas.
