During the dry years a.k.a. the Prohibition, a special airline flew thirsty Americans to Cuba, serving them cocktails in highball glasses – The Highball Express. Named after this tradition, Highball Express is a brand that curates and blends fine Rum from the ‘Wet islands’ and brings them to the ‘dry States’. Each of their Rums is built around the chosen ‘core’ Rum to which different aged Rums are married – coming from Panama, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Barbados, Dominican Republic and Trinidad. This makes Highball Express Rums super complex and exciting.
Highball Express 23 XO Blend is some real decadent stuff. The heart of this stunning concoction rested for 23 years in Guyana before it was married with the finest Rums from Barbados and Panama. It comes at you big on flavor and full-bodied with plenty of oak, toasty spices and lovely cinnamon.
