Stop for a second and imagine yourself sitting on a serene hilltop in Tuscany enjoying some delicious Chianti. Lovely, right? But there’s more to sip in Italy than just wine. Italians know a thing or two about La Dolce Vita, so we very intrigued to learn more about their interpretation of Gin. To save you the suspense – we were not disappointed.

This particular beverage is the brainchild of Fulvio Puchino, an Italian businessman who set out on creating a Gin with Italian charm and international appeal. Italians are a stylish bunch, and this Italian Stallion is no different. Imea Gineprina d´Olanda is a historical reproduction of an Italian Gin from the turn of the 20th century, rediscovered in a forgotten distiller’s registry. Our friend Fulvio is a great history buff plus an expert in the art of mixing, and that is evident in the end result. A beautiful Spirit from a time long gone.

Everything from the packaging onwards reminds us that this is a well thought-out product. The vintage bottle perfectly coincides with the fundamental idea of heritage and old-school craftsmanship that this Gin represents. Juniper has the center stage, but it is complimented with traditional ingredients distillers once had like aniseed, cloves, and cinnamon. Flush and flavorful, it has the flexibility to be mixed and the character to stand on its own. Indulge.
