A decidedly unique herbal Liqueur from the heart of Berlin.
The Liquor Company (aka, The LQR Co.) was founded in Berlin in 2012 by "Yvonne, Florian, and Lars." They are an independent importer and bottler of Spirits for the local German market, but now some of their brands are finding their way out into broader markets. So far they have specialized in French Gins, Vodka, and Caribbean Rums and developed their own herbal Liqueur.
The "23" in KR/23 Kräuterlikör stands for the twenty-three natural herbs and spices infused into this herbal Liqueur. The list of them is impressive — orange and lemon zest, ginger, nutmeg, basil, chamomile, cinnamon sticks, rosemary, oregano, thyme, turmeric, anise, caraway, bay leaves, herb of grace (raute), fennel seeds, green pepper, sage, cardamom, cloves, mint, lemon balm, and black pepper. The base Spirit is neutral grain and all the infusions are hand-crafted.
