This traditional Irish Whiskey delivers quality and a rich flavor profile to a working man’s dram.

Sadler’s began as a small brewhouse in 1861. They built that business by creating a small chain of public houses (pubs) that sold their wares. Sadler’s now has two brewhouses and has developed a wide range of Sadler’s Ales along with private-label Spirits and other beverages under the "Peaky Blinders" brand. They are a division of Halewood International, who have a range of twenty-five premium brands available across the UK.

Sadler's Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey harkens back to the Whiskies of the early 1900s. It’s a blend of triple-distilled Irish Grain Whiskies and Irish Single Malts aged in American oak, then finished in Sherry casks. The create this tasty dram in very small batches. But this working class Spirit is serious about quality — taking the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2018.

Smartass Corner:
"Peaky Blinders" is now the name of a dramatized TV show in the UK, but back at the turn of the last century was the name of an infamous criminal, often violent, street gang in Birmingham, England. Some gang members frequented Sadler’s Pubs and had drinks named after them. The image on the new bottle is Stephen McHickie — a prominent member of that gang.

Doesn't taste anything like to...

Doesn't taste anything like toffee or apricot, and tastes like bitter burnt wood. Man what a regret to have purchased.
I'll keep it for mixers but never anything else...
