St. George Terroir Gin: Shaking Up The Distilling Game!

Jörg Rupf, a visionary with a taste for the good stuff, founded St. George when craft distilling was as rare as a unicorn at a disco. Fast forward to today, they're swimming in a sea of over 2,000 distilleries, and it's all thanks to Jörg. He didn't just start a distillery; he started a revolution, running his first batch of eau de vie on a 65-gallon pot still. All hail Jörg, the godfather of craft distilling.

St. George Terroir Gin is a master of disguise. It starts as a pear brandy and morphs into a jewel-toned liqueur. Pear juice drops the proof to a friendly 20% ABV - enough kick without calling it a night. Infused with cinnamon and clove this Gin is balanced by organic cane sugar and malic acid alongside juniper berries and California bay laurel. It's not just Gin - it's an icebreaker.

Do you like your Bloody Marys ...

Do you like your Bloody Marys to be a meal for the senses (and crammed with everything but the kitchen sink)? This gin for the dirtiest of martinis. Botanicals in your face from every direction. Shake up an ice cold martini no vermouth, dirty it up with your favorite juice, skewer veggies (olive, dill, olive, dill is my go-to), and serve with a sprig of something woodsy. Grow a beard and log a tree while you're at it; you've earned it.

Not my bag I'm afraid. I found the initial waft of sage and pine rather overwhelming, followed by a rather unpleasant citrus aftertaste that lingered on the back of the tongue.
