The Artisan Gin

How does a high-tech, artisanal Gin crafted exclusively from hand-picked, locally-sourced, organic botanicals from the warm Croatian countryside sound? Yeah, we thought so.

The Artisan Gin is produced in Croatia, using cutting-edge, vacuum distillation technology. In traditional distillation, sensitive flavors can be lost due to the high boiling point of ethanol. In vacuum distillation, however, vacuum is created in the still by using pumps and the boiling point is lowered to room temperature. Hence, it is also called cold distillation. This method allows the botanicals added to preserve their complex chemical composition and delicate flavors, resulting in a much more pronounced aroma. Naturally, at Artisan Gin, they chose this method, since this London dry Gin contains 14 carefully selected botanicals. Well worth preserving.

Hand-picked in collaboration with local farmers from the Croatian countryside, known for its abundance of aromatic, herbal smells (If you've been to Croatia in the summer, you know exactly what we mean.), the botanical selection in this Gin includes juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, lemon and orange peels, almonds, olive tree leaves, elderflower, lavender and root powder from the Croatioan national flower, the iris. Quite the Brady bunch, but it is a well thought out selection, blended and carefully distilled to create a limited edition, premium London dry Gin. Crafted in small batches (well, the name is the Artisan Gin), it comes in a stunning, sleek black bottle, designed by the distiller.
