The Macallan: A Speyside Legend
The Macallan 12 Year Old from the 1980s is a time capsule of whisky brilliance. This Highland single malt is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry oak casks, giving it a rich, complex character. With an ABV that packs a punch, this vintage gem boasts a nose of holiday fruitcake and dark molasses, a palate of rancio and dark chocolate, and a finish that lingers with espresso and sweet oak. It's a collector's dream and a sip of history.
Deep amber
Intensely sweet and vinous; layered with holiday fruitcake, dark molasses, leather, and blood orange oil.
Exceptionally thick, oily, and creamy. Bold waves of rancio, dark chocolate, passion fruit, and walnuts.
Very long, warm, and drying with lingering espresso, sweet oak, and baking spice.
