The story behind Vera Spirits, a non-alcoholic distillery, founded by 3 Slovenian chefs and restaurateurs from Ljubljana, is the story of the aunt of one of the founders – Vera. Vera was born in a port city in the North Adriatic to a family of successful distillers. The dream, right? She spent her youth meeting all sorts of fascinating people and traveling the Mediterranean. (We’re jelly, too!

At home in the world of refined tastes and aromas, it got Vera thinking the different personalities she met along the way were a lot like Spirits – there, too, the flavors and smells were a combo of different components. So, this became her life quest: exploring the perfect tastes for each personality type. Vera Spirits picks up on this mission and explores local, seasonal botanicals, various distillation methods and spring water from the Alps to create unique blends.

Vera Aperitivø Herbal is their second Aperitivo. Made with locally sourced gentian, cloves, star anise, sage, and thyme, this is a bold Spirit that leaves you with a long herbal aftertaste. Sip it neat after you finish your favorite meal or use it in your alcohol-free cocktails.
