Taking the stage after 30 years
In the Whiskey game, there are those who distill the Whiskey, and those who take the Whiskey and make it into more than it is - with a carefully thought out maturation process, a Whiskey will gain richness, depth, and new nuances to its flavor profile, developing a stronger character and a new life to it. Chapter 7 Whiskey is the latter - an independent bottler that discovers exceptional casks and makes the Whiskey even more extraordinary. Starting their business already in 2014, in August of 2022, they opened their own bottling facility in Paisley, where they can blend, age, and bottle Scotch Whiskies with newfound freedom.
Chapter 7 Monologue 30 Year Old North British Scotch Whisky is one of the finest bottles from the Monologue Series, where a single cask takes the stage, telling its own story that will never be repeated again. This is a single-grain Scotch Whiskey from North British distillery that was distilled in October of 1991 and bottled in December 2022, meaning it was aged for over 30 years. The maturation took place in Sherry casks, adding sweet notes of dried fruit to the velvety and mellow flavor profile. Bottled at natural cask strength at an ABV of 46.6%. There are only 290 bottles of this premium expression available.
