All about Chapter 7
Chapter 7 Whisky is a highly unique independent bottler specializing in extraordinary expressions. In 2014 they began bottling single casks from Scotland's lesser known distilleries, the cornerstone malts that make up the foundations of famous blends, but known only by a select few. Their passion project is driven by curiosity, unearthing malts from Scotland, Ireland, grain Whiskies from Scotland and mastering the art of the blend.
Some of their most popular expressions include: Chapter 7 Anecdote 24 Year Old 1995 :a rare small batch curated from a few precious casks, Chapter 7 Chronicle 8 Year Old 2011: handpicked from 3-5 unique casks, and their Monologue expressions: a characterful blend of barrel strength single casks.
Their Tormore 1995 edition received a Liquid Gold Award, while their four single malts averaged 91.6 points in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2016. In the 2017 Whisky Bible, they earned 2 Liquid Gold Awards with Peatside 2009 Blended Malt and Irish Single Malt 1999 aged in a Rum cask, winning a Gold medal at the 2017 Whiskies of the World Awards.
