This Glen Moray 25 YO single cask from Chapter 7 is unique, finely crafted, and perfectly aged.
The premise of Chapter 7 is simple — each cask of Whiskey is unique. The wood, age, temperature, location… everything makes a difference and tells its own story. Single malts sit in barrels before bottling, so that the Master Blander can try to make them all taste the same. The folks at Chapter 7 think that Whisk(e)y deserves to be individual.
Chapter 7 is the brain child of Salim Evin. He makes regular visits to Scotland and Ireland to hand select single casks from the inventories of the world’s greatest distilleries. Then he custom bottles each one with its own story. How many bottles? Well, until the barrel is bone dry.
Glen Moray single malts — especially the old stuff — are wonderful bottles of heavenly scented charm. How did Chapter 7 get their hands on a 25 YO Glen Moray cask? We didn't dare to ask, but we're glad they did.
Chapter 7 Glen Moray 25 YO is a classic Speyside single malt from cask #5241 — an ex-Bourbon hogshead yielding a scant 218 bottles of nectar. There will be no more. Every Whisky lover deserves something like this in his or her collection — a unique expression, finely crafted and perfectly aged.
