Plantation Rum fills out their Signature Series with a core offering from Fiji that delivers plenty of fruit notes.
Plantation Rum is owned by French Cognac producer Maison Ferrand, who controls no less than a dozen major brands of premium Spirits and Liqueurs. Ferrand is all about quality — and you can taste it. Plantation Rum is their top-shelf Rum label. And mighty good stuff it is, too. They offer a variety of Rums from the Caribbean. Depending on the specific actual plantation and the country of origin, the Rums can vary between soft and aromatic to light and elegant — each one showing the experienced influence of Maison Ferrand.
The island nation of Fiji is nearly seventeen thousand miles from Ferrand’s home Chateau in Cognac, France. But that doesn’t stop Plantation Rum from capturing casks of Rum from RUM Co. of Fiji Distillery that have aged two to three years in Bourbon casks and whisking them all the way back to France to age another full year in Ferrand’s famous Cognac casks. Plantation Isle of Fiji Rum is a permanent part of their Signature Series and bottled at 40% ABV.
