Roots Spirits is a bold and fresh company founded in 2013, when two Greek brothers Manos and Nikolas decided to go back to their roots, find the best Spirits their history has to offer, and bring them to us in an exciting new form. Four Root liquors are handcrafted and based on ancient herbal remedies dating back to the middle of the 19th century, using natural native ingredients of Greece. In just a few years, Roots potions conquered the best bars in London, Athens, Rome, and Paris. Each Spirit has its own story.

Rakomelo is, as the name implies, a wonderful beverage made from Raki and honey. Raki is a Brandy-type Spirit from Crete, made from grape pomace, very similar to the Italian Grappa. Honey and spices come from Aegean Islands and the locals used Rakomelo as a warm winter delicacy and a remedy for cold and wet months. Strong and flamboyant aromas will embrace your home when you serve it hot off the stove with a slice of orange and clove; or you can make a cozy Rakomelo and lemon soda cocktail. It's a wonderful harmony of the strong Raki Spirit and sweetness of honey. We can't imagine winter without it. Of course that doesn't mean you can't have it in the summer. Just chill it down first.
